Contemporary Digital Practice
Contemporary Digital Practice (7AAVDC29) is a module on the MA Digital Culture and Society at King’s College London.
module description
Building on the concepts and technologies studied in the first core module of the course (7AAVDC27), this semester’s core module applies these different theoretical frameworks to understanding contemporary digital practice across multiple sectors of social, cultural and economic life. With weekly case studies focused on particular apps (and methods of studying ‘appification’) the module explores digital culture in relation to areas such as mobility, consumption, finance, health, sexuality, humanitarianism, cities, games and art.
