King’s-China Scholarship Council PhD Scholarship programme (K-CSC)

There are some China Scholarship Council scholarships for pursuing PhD research at King’s College London.

If you’re interested in doing a PhD in fields such as Internet studies, new media studies, science and technology studies, critical data studies, AI studies, algorithm studies, software studies, platform studies, infrastructure studies, new media art, environmental humanities, digital ecologies or neighbouring fields - you can find many people working in these areas at the Department of Digital Humanities, the Centre for Digital Culture and across King’s.

King’s College London and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) hold an agreement to jointly fund Chinese students to pursue research degrees (PhDs) at King’s College London.

K-CSC scholarship awards are available for the 2026-27 competition.
